The government of Maldives has contracted Altec Maldives Private Limited to develop sewerage facilities in Muraidhoo in Haa Alifu Atoll. The contract was signed by Minister of Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim and Manager, Projects Ibrahim Naseem.
Addressing the signing ceremony, the environment minister revealed the contractor will also conduct training programmes for individuals responsible in the service sector as part of the project.
Altec Maldives should complete the project within a period of one year, according to the contract.
