High Court of Maldives has ordered to release former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, Parliamentarians Ahmed Faris and Gasim Ibrahim by bail.
Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom was convicted of obstruction of justice and sentenced to one year seven months and six days in prison in June.
Meanwhile, Parliamentarian Faris Maumoon was serving 4 months and 24 days in prison for identity theft.
Gasim Ibrahim was serving 3 years, 2 months and 12 days in prison for charges of bribery.
