PPM assures to cooperate with new government

Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has assured to cooperate with the new government to pass the state budget and to implement the pledges.

Addressing a press conference, Parliamentary Group Leader of PPM Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik said the party aims to promote welfare and goodwill of the citizens even when working as an opposition party. Ahmed Nihan affirmed PPM will uphold its values and work as a responsible opposition party. In this regard, during the press conference, Nihan stated PPM will never hesitate in the efforts for the benefit of the people and their rights.

Moreover, PPM parliamentarians said the current administration is still in power and would remain in power until the November 17 and the government would be handing over the ongoing projects to the incoming government.
