Spokesperson of President-Elect, Mariya Ahmed Didi has revealed efforts are underway to participate as much citizens as possible in the swearing-in ceremony.
During the daily press briefing, on behalf of the president-elect, Mariya Ahmed Didi stated arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony are currently underway. Mariya said the president-elect envisions a smooth transition period and puts special attachment to ensure it. In this regard, Mariya revealed a committee named the inauguration committee has been formed to make arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony.
Noting the joint opposition always prioritises and attributes the landslide victory in the presidential election to the citizens, Mariya expressed Ibrahim Mohamed Solih wants to include as many citizens in the ceremony.
