Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Asim has sent a message of felicitations to State Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi, on the occasion of the 69th National Day of China.
In the message, Foreign Minister Asim extended best wishes and sincere greetings to the government and the friendly people of China. The foreign minister noted Maldives and China have enjoyed strong bilateral ties over the years, as close friends and partners in development.
On conclusion, the minister said he is confident the close ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries will continue to prosper in the years to come.
