The Office of the President-Elect states Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has assured them of cooperation during the transition period.
In a statement issued following the meeting with Director of Transition Ahmed Latheef, ACC has assured to cooperate with the incoming government and to facilitate the smooth transition of power. In addition, according to office of president-elect, ACC stated that no actions which may financially burden the incoming government will be allowed and affirmed any such actions or projects will be fully investigated.
ACC has urged the outgoing government to cease opening tender for new projects and any acts which will burden the incoming government of Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
