Commercial Bank of Maldives (CBM) has inaugurated branchless banking service in Addu City.
Branchless banking is a service offered by affiliating with Maldives Post Limited. CBM said via the service customers will be able to enjoy a range of banking services through post service outlets located across Maldives. The service introduced incorporation with Maldives Post eases banking services for customers as post outlets in islands provide many banking services, CBM revealed.
CBM said customers can apply for card, online banking and other services via the post office. While customers can apply for cards via the post outlets, customers are given the option to pick up their card from the post outlet they applied at. Moreover, CBM cards can be used for deposits and withdrawals via POS terminals at Maldives Post.
CBM has so far launched branchless banking in Hulhumale', Fuvahmulah City and Addu City.
