Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has stated land plots are leased in accordance with the Addu Land Use Plan.
Speaking to PSM News, Executive Coordinator Abdulla Zuhair assured no illegal activities are held when leasing land from Addu City. Lands were given as compensation for lands taken for the government noting no new applicants are given land plots, stated Zuhair.
In a notice issued regarding leasing land plots from Addu City, the minister said over 400 land plots will be issued from 4 islands of Addu City.
