Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has begun providing Amana Takaful Insurance services from bank branches in the atolls.
Speaking to PSM News, Senior Executive of Amana Takaful Ahmed Sham'ool Abdulla said insurance services will be provided from MIB branches in Addu City and Fuvahmulah City, adding the aim of the bank is to fully provide the services in atolls as well. Furthermore, Ahmed Sham'ool Abdulla noted efforts are underway to provide Amana Takaful Insurance services from MIB branches in Kulhudhuffushi and Thinadhoo.
Amana Takaful Maldives has been in operation since 2003 and is a full-fledged licensed general insurance company in Maldives.
