DJA suspends parliamentarian Ali Hussain

Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) has suspended parliamentarian Ali Hussain from practising in courts and tribunals. Ali Hussain was suspended from practicing in courts and tribunals for a period of 5 months, according to a notice issued by DJA.

The decision of DJA came after questioning him about an article published in which Ali Hussain said, "there is nothing that needs to be decided by the Supreme Court regarding the 12-disputed seats in parliament.’’

Previously, Ali Hussain was suspended in March 2018, following some comments he had made.
