Maldives Police Service has revealed the number of accidents occurring on Sina-Male' Bridge have been increasing and has advised the public to take caution.
Speaking to PSM News, Chief Station Inspector of Traffic Police Department Mohamed Hassan stated the number of accidents is increasing on the bridge, noting 36 accidents have been reported in the first month since the opening of the bridge and the connecting roads for public.
Many accidents go unreported and noted Chief Station Inspector Mohamed Hassan highlighting police personnel are patrolling the bridge and the connected areas. He further urged the public to cooperate with the police to reduce the number of accidents.
