Gateway International School holds open day

Gateway International School has held an open day for parents to familiarise them towards the new curriculum, which will be introduced along with its re-branding to Brightway International School.

The school in Hulhumale' will be rebranded with a new curriculum in January 2019 and will be managed by Irushaad Trust of Singapore and Qualitat Education of Maldives.

The change will transform the school into one of the first educational institutes in Maldives to provide a curriculum which will focus on creating students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, according to the Executive Director of Irushaad Trust Razaq Bin Mohamed. He noted the open day was a success and received a good feedback from parents who attended the practical and theory sessions.

Singapore's Irushaad Trust manages numerous schools across different countries in Asia.

Gateway International School was initially opened as Lale International School and changed to Gateway in 2017. The school provides pre-school to primary educational opportunities for over 700 students.
