Maldives National University (MNU) has revealed the first module of MBBS programme of Maldives Medical School will be taught at Malaysia. The first ever MBBS programme is being held incorporation with a Malaysian University, according to MNU,
Dean of Maldives Medical School Dr. Sheeza Ali said the 23 students will leave to Malaysia in November. Moreover, Dr. Sheeza revealed the orientation programme has been concluded, adding smart learning programme for the students are currently underway.
Dr. Sheeza added the students will visit the Maldives Medical School established in Dharumavantha Hospital during the smart learning programme. She further revealed the medical school will be fully operational around February next year.
The four-day smart learning programme is held to familiarise students on the MBBS programme, according to MNU.
