Elections Commission releases funds for political parties, except for PPM

Elections Commission of Maldives has released funds for all political parties except for ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

Speaking to PSM News, member and spokesperson Ahmed Akram confirmed the commission has paid all political parties with allowances except for the ruling party. Akram revealed PPM was not granted allowances due to an ongoing case at civil court.
