President-Elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated it is important to develop Male' City as a heart-warming place for the citizens by implementing decentralisation policies.
Addressing the serial forum, president-elect said Maldives, as a whole, should be developed by distributing the power among the outlying islands. Moreover, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih expressed ideas of the citizens are important when establishing services for them.
The serial forum organised by the president-elect was participated by former President Mohamed Nasheed, Parliament Speaker Qasim Ibrahim and Leader of Adaalath Party Imran Abdulla along with parliamentarians representing the capital city and members of Male' City Council.
The topic of the first session was Roads of Male'. Attendees shared views on the crucial changes that needs to brought to roads of Male'. The forum will be held across Maldives focusing on different topics of importance to the citizens living in the areas.
