Finance Ministry launches 3 online portals

Ministry of Finance and Treasury has launched three online portals to provide its services effectively. In this regard, the finance ministry introduced government procurement portal; Beelan Portal, a portal for government inventory management; Neelan Portal, along with two new features of Bandeyri Portal; utility payments and Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP) monitoring. The portals were launched by former Minister of State at Ministry of Finance and Treasury Ahmed Assad.

The Beelan Portal provides information regarding new projects introduced by the government and provides opportunity to submit project proposals. The Neelan Portal provides information about auctioned goods and to provide opportunity to participate in the bid process online. Meanwhile, the new features of the Bandeyri Portal will show information about projects included in the state budget. Bandeyri Portal is mainly used as a platform to share documents with government authorities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Finance Minister Ahmed Munawar stated one main aim of the portals is to conduct bids, auctions and other related work transparently within the government institutions. The portals will also act as a platform to eliminate corruption, the finance minister also noted.
