President-Elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived back in Maldives after concluding his trip to Saudi Arabia.
During the three-day trip, the president-elect performed an Umrah pilgrimage and met with government officials of Saudi Arabia. Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was accompanied by Parliament Speaker Qasim Ibrahim and members of opposition coalition.
Saudi Arabia has assured the incoming government of their cooperation and assistance in developmental efforts. The country was among the first countries that congratulated and offered support to the president-elect.
