Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has received a monthly revenue which was 9.6% more than expected in October.
During October, MIRA received nearly USD 65 million as revenue, according to statistics published. MIRA stated the income attained by MIRA during October was 3.9% more than the same period last year. Moreover, MIRA published the most number of income was generated from Goods and Services Tax (GST) which amounts to 61.7%.
MIRA noted it generated 18.3% of its income in Business Profit Tax (BPT). So far this year, MIRA had generated over USD 841.4 million as income, according to statistics.
