Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) Adil Moosa has resigned from the position.
While making the announcement on Twitter, President of the Privatisation Board Mohamed Nizar said the board has accepted the resignation letter of Adil Moosa and that from tomorrow onwards, MACL would be headed temporarily by Deputy Chief Information Officer Moosa Solih.
Adil Moosa was appointed as the managing director of the company that generates the most revenue to the state, in 2015. In the five years of the current administration, Adil Moosa played a key role in the development of Velana International Airport (VIA) and in the introduction of contemporary services at the largest airport in Maldives.
