Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim has revealed services of Dharumavantha Hospital will begin in February.
Speaking to media after visiting Dharumavantha Hospital, Minister Nazim said 95% of the hospital development project has now been completed, adding the medical equipment have also been brought. The health minister revealed there are no obstructions to begin the operation of the hospital.
Moreover, during the visit, Minister Nazim monitored the progress of the facility. Noting the new facility developed will progress the Maldivian health sector, he expressed hope the use of the facility will be put into best use.
The first ever 25-storey building in Maldives was contracted to a Singapore-based company, Changhua Construction Private Limited, at a cost of USD 140 million.
