Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi has met senior officials of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).
The meeting held by Defence Minister Mariya is the first ever meeting held since her appointment to the post. The meeting was attended by Chief of Defence Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam, Vice Chief of Defence Force Brigadier General Ahmed Shahid and other senior officers of MNDF.
During the inaugural speech, the newly elected President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih assured to retain the trust towards the institution.
