Ambassador of India to Maldives Akilesh Mishra has met members of Addu City Council.
Speaking to PSM News, Addu City Council said information regarding ongoing and upcoming projects, in addition to investment opportunities in Addu City was shared with the Indian ambassador. The two parties also discussed increasing the number and frequency of flights between Addu City and Indian airports, as well as means through which direct shipping can be expanded between Addu City and Indian ports.
Addu City Council has also met with Minister of Economic Development Fayyaz Ismail and Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed. During the meetings, discussions were held regarding economic ventures carried out in Addu City.
