President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has made three appointments to the Judicial Service Commission. The present presented the letter of appointment to the newly appointed members, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
In this regard, President Solih appointed Speaker of the Parliament Gasim Ibrahim, under Article 158 of the constitution and Article 3 of the Judicial Service Act, Attorney General Ibrahim Riffath, under Article 158 of the constitution and Article 3 of the Judicial Service Act and Parliamentarian Ahmed Faris Maumoon, under Article 158 of the constitution and Article 3 of the Judicial Service Act
Prior to the presentation of letters of appointment, the three members took the oath of membership of JSC. The oath was administered by Chief Justice Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Didi.
