A high-level delegation representing the Government of Maldives has departed to New Delhi, India.
During the visit, the delegation is expected to meet Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj and other high level officials of the Government of India, and hold discussions on strengthening the traditionally close friendly relations between Maldives and India.
The delegation from Maldives include Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Shahid Minister of Finance Ahmed Ameer, Minister of Economic Development Fayyaz Ismail, in addition to Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel, Foreign Secretary Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed and officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Finance.
