A session of Diplomacy Talk Series has been held in Maldives. The Diplomacy Talk Series summit was inaugurated by the Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof.
Diplomacy Talk Series is founded by students at Brickfields Asia College, Malaysia, with Katrina Doshi and Hamza Abdiwahab as founders and Mizfa Saeed as a co-founder. The aim of Diplomacy Talk Series is to encourage youth to partake in more social issues and put themselves in the front line.
Speaking about the session, Mizfa Saeed said the summit stimulated dialogue and proposing viable solutions to the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the role of youth in achieving the goals. The session was a compilation of keynote speakers and special panel discussions.
While two rounds of diplomacy talk series were previously held in Malaysia, this is the first round held in Maldives. A Diplomacy Talk Series is scheduled for next year to be held in Kenya, according to the founding members.
