Vice President stresses importance of building a good generation for national development

Vice President of Maldives Faisal Naseem has underscored it is a responsibility of every individual to prepare today's children for a better tomorrow, by ensuring quality education. He made the remark while speaking at the closing ceremony of a Quran Competition organised by a private party in Dhidhdhoo in Haa Alifu Atoll.

Vice President Faisal Naseem also reminded all parents and guardians of how important raising a good generation is for the betterment for the future of the nation. Speaking at the ceremony Vice President Naseem highlighted the administration of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will put in every effort to protect the Islamic identity of the Maldives and promote unity among the people.

In this regard, the vice president highlighted the First 100 Days Goals of the administration targeted in the area of Islamic religion, facilitating individuals to utilise pension fund savings for the performance of obligatory Hajj, and commencing Quran studies in mosques.

During his visit to Dhidhdhoo, the vice president was accompanied by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir.
