Government of Maldives has held discussions to enhance the system to provide medical equipment and medicine to health facilities.
The discussions were held at a meeting held by Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen with managements of Hulhumale' Hospital and its national healthcare insurance and State Trading Organisation (STO). The discussions focused on further enhancing the health sector and providing better services to citizens. Moreover, during the meeting discussions were held to establish a system to provide medical equipment and medicine to health facilities in all islands sustainably.
Furthermore, health ministry and STO discussed on enhancing means to import medicine to Maldives.
