Minister of Communication, Science and Technology Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal has revealed the government will establish a health record enabling to access to medical records of all citizens.
At a press conference held at Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology (MCST), Minister Maleeh Jamal noted there are many issues in Maldives which needs technological solutions. In this regard, Minister Maleeh said MCST is now working to collect information and discuss with ministries on relevant solution on issues.
Updating on these efforts, Minister Maleeh assured to establish a national health record with medical information of all citizens. Moreover, Minister Maleeh stated in efforts to connect the hospitals in Male' and in Hulhumale' under the same network, an additional cable will be installed by MCST along the Sina-Male' Bridge.
Furthermore, speaking at the press conference, the minister expressed collective efforts will be exerted with ministries and authorities to enhance the sector.
