Cabinet members have decided to speed up the work to be done in order to reassign the responsibilities previously taken from the mandates of the Councils.
Discussions were also held on the necessary actions to be taken by individual ministries in order to ensure a smooth and speedy process.
Furthermore, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih renamed the Economic and Youth Council to Economic Council. He also reappointed members to the Economic Council and Social Council.
The Chair of the Economic Council is President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, while the Chair of the Social Council is Vice President Faisal Naseem.
