Ministry of Education has held discussions to expand the scholarship opportunities for Maldives.
The discussions were held with Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Hassan and Deputy Head of Mission of Australia Victoria Coakley. At the meeting, higher education minister appreciated the opportunities given to Maldives by the government of Australia and expressed hope to further expand the scholarship opportunities.
The new government has pledged to provide free higher education opportunities beginning in the academic year 2019.
