Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Hassan has met with members of Private Higher Education Association of Maldives (PHEAM).
During the meeting, the higher education minister inquired about the challenges faced in operating the association. Minister Ibrahim Hassan noted the important role played by private sector in improving the education sector. Moreover, the minister spoke on the role played by stakeholders and associations, such as PHEAM, in achieving the pledges of the government related to higher education.
While the minister expressed hope for assistance from PHEAM, the association assured to cooperate with the government in further enhancing the higher education sector.
