Maldives Association of Human Resource Professionals (MAHRP) has signed a professional support pact with Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) of Sri Lanka. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at Water’s Edge Restaurant in Colombo, Sri Lanka by President of MAHRP Hussain Afeef.
Under the agreement, CIPM will assist Maldives in establishing a human resource network, share technical expertise and allow MAHRP members to complete human resource related programmes at CIPM Business School. In addition, under the agreement, both organisations will organise cross exposure activities for human resource professionals from both Maldives and Sri Lanka.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hussain Afeef said an agreement with a reputed human capital management organisation like CIPM would bring a great set of values to MAHRP in its mandate to develop the human resource network in the Maldives as well as to MAHRP members.
Meanwhile, President of CIPM Dhammikka Fernando expressed delight for signing the agreement and the fact MAHRP had chosen CIPM as its first international collaborator.
CIPM is an endorsing partner for the National HR Convention and EXPO which is scheduled for the upcoming year.
MAHRP is the first professional association dedicated to the development of human resources to be registered in Maldives.
