President's Office asks to report illegal removal from jobs and demotions

President's Office has asked the public to submit cases of illegal removal from jobs or demotions.

The office stated such individuals should submit a complaint form within 30 days. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has formed a committee to oversee the cases of forceful removal of staff from jobs for political reasons, according to the President's Office.

Citing political ideology or political alliances, the past administration has taken strict action against several employees at government office and state owned enterprises. In this regard, the employees have been removed, transferred or demoted from the positions they held. President Solih has promised to grant justice for such individuals during his presidential term.
