Vice President assures the administration would work on resolving issues being faced by the people

Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated the administration would always work on solving all challenges being faced by the Maldivian people, particularly at times of crises. He made the remark during his visit to the National Disaster Management Centre, to review the progress of the relief efforts that has been ongoing since yesterday’s torrential rain and flooding in Malé City, and subsequent disruption of private property.

Vice President commended and welcomed the public’s support in the recovery efforts, noting the united front always put on by the Maldivian people. He also praised the exceptional work done by all contributors to the recovery efforts, including government institutions, state and private companies, non-governmental organisations and volunteers.
