Minister of Communication, Technology and Science Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal has said efficient means to enhance the construction sector will be introduced with the use of latest technology.
Technology is an important component in the construction industry, Minister Maleeh said speaking at the ceremony held to conclude a training programme held by Maldives Association of Construction Industry (MACI).
Highlighting the technology used in the construction sector in more developed countries, Minister Maleeh assured to work to enhance the construction sector of Maldives. In this regard, the minister stated many training programmes will be held utilising the e-centres developed across Maldives by National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT). Moreover, noting the importance of talent as much as education, he spoke on the importance of conducting practical training programmes.
The government aims to develop all sectors using the latest technological tools.
