Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir has attended the International Conference on Islamic Unity: The Perils of Labelling and Exclusion held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia from December 12-13.
The conference is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud to promote the concepts of the national state and its common values. Over 1,200 delegates, including muftis, ministers, scholars and Islamic thinkers, from 127 countries participated in the conference.
The conference is organised by Muslim World League, an international non-governmental Islamic organization based in Mecca.
