Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal has stated the military force must maintain its solidarity.
Addressing the ceremony held at a military headquarter in Male' City, Major General Abdulla Shamaal said the military force must also maintain discipline and technical talents. The chief of defence force further noted military personnel are dignified and must work to enhance relations with the public.
Moreover, Abdulla Shamaal called to always remember the oath undertaken by military personnel and to work within the mandates set in the constitution. During the speech, Shamaal thanked President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for giving him the opportunity to serve the country.
The ceremony was attended by Vice Chief of Defence Force Brigadier General Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef, general officers as well as senior officers.
