Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has announced a reduction in aviation fuel prices.
MACL said the reduced prices will be effective from January 1, 2019 for international and domestic carriers at Velana International Airport (VIA). International operators will have a reduction of 6.91 percent and domestic operators will have a reduction of 7.50 percent from its previous published prices on December 1, 2018, according to MACL.
MACL anticipates all the airlines operating to VIA will benefit with the price reduction during the peak flight operations period in winter season.
