Maldives Post Limited (MPL) has stated over 3,000 people have bought the touch link card for the bus services between Male'-Hulhule-Hulhumale'.
MPL expects the number to increase in the coming days. While the company is fully prepared to provide touch link card services, efforts will be exerted to enhance the services in the future, revealed MPL.
Speaking on a programme aired on PSM News, Assistant General Manager Mohamed Mahjoob said special packages and an application will be introduced especially for the touch link service. In this regard, he noted the public can recharge the card and check bus locations via the application.
MPL charge USD 0.65 for its bus services from January 1, 2019. However, MPL decided students in school uniforms and children will not be charged.
Every day, over 5,000 people use the bus services between Male'-Hulhule-Hulhumale', according to MPL.
