Ministry of Finance has revealed efforts will be exerted to unify the salary structure of all government offices. The finance ministry made the announcement in a press statement highlighting its main agenda for 2019.
In the statement, finance ministry revealed it has been decided to unify the salary structure of all government offices, while efforts are now underway to review the salary structure of government offices and companies. The ministry further said after unifying the salaries, efforts will be exerted to rank the offices depending on performance.
Furthermore, the finance ministry has revealed a corporate governance code will be formulated for the government authorities to follow. In the statement, finance ministry revealed plans to establish a database management system of Privatisation and Corporatisation Board to safeguard the information of companies, easily access to information and to monitor the records.
The ministry further revealed plans to revise all regulations and relevant laws of state companies and amending it to comply with current laws and regulations.
