State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has urged former CEO Ahmed Zuhoor to refrain from spreading rumours regarding the state-owned utility company.
In a statement, STELCO expressed concern that a person who filled out numerous high level posts in the past administration and also served as the former CEO of STELCO is spreading false information to defame the company.
Zuhoor has said STELCO is run in loss as the services are provided for commission or bribes.
STELCO said Zuhoor should have investigated such matters of concern while he filled the position of CEO of the commission. STELCO added if Zuhoor is responsible for any such matters, the company will not hesitate to take action.
Moreover, STELCO assured the services are provided within a trusted system between the provider and clients. STELCO further assured all services are provided in line with the corporate governance code.
