Maldives Customs Service has revealed the services provided to businesses will be accessible with ease in the upcoming months.
Speaking to the press, Commissioner General of Customs Ahmed Numaan said the institution plays a vital role in enhancing the local businesses, adding some services of customs will be provided quicker in the next three months. He added it will ease the process of import and export of goods.
Moreover, Numaan said while the services undergo major transformations to adapt to the latest technologies, major changes are currently being made. He also revealed some rules and regulations are being amended to ease the services available from customs. He further expressed service hours will be changed in efforts to enhance bonded warehouse services.
