Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology has revealed efforts are underway to establish a single portal which allows access to services from all government offices.
Speaking at the ceremony held to launch the online payment of work visa, Minister Mohamed Maleeh Jamal said it is a huge issue for businesses and individuals to be physically present in an office to attain services. In this regard, he said in efforts to ease the process, the ministry is working to establish an online portal that would allow access to all services from government offices.
Moreover, the minister added the portal will serve as a tool to enhance local tourism and guesthouse businesses in the country.
