President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has renamed Centre for Holy Quran. President Solih renamed the institution to National Centre of Holy Quran.
National Centre for Holy Quran is mandated with teaching and spreading Quran's lessons, research the relevant history in the country, train individuals who will compete in national and international level Quran competitions.
Moreover, the centre conducts various training programmes and is run under Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
