PCB appoints a Managing Director for MITDC

Privatisation and Corporatization Board (PCB) has appointed Mohamed Raaid as the Managing Director of Maldives Integrated Tourism Development Corporation Limited (MITDC).

MITDC is a 100% state owned enterprise mandated to support and to foster the development and growth of the mid-market segment of the Maldivian tourism industry. The primary goal of MITDC is to bring economic growth to the nation by expanding the possible avenues of the tourism sector through the systematic and planned development of integrated tourism in the industry.

PCB makes the appointments for the state owned enterprises by the advisory of the president. The administration has made several changes to the state owned companies since taking office on November 17.

However, a managing director still has not been appointed for Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).
