Supreme Court of Maldives has appointed a Secretary General. Dr. Hussain Faiz was appointed as the head of the administrative section of the court unanimously by the judges’ bench.
The Secretary General of the Supreme Court is required to manage administrative work, ensure tasks are carried out as mandated by the judiciary.
Moreover, the tasks of the secretary general also includes dispatching details needed to legislate policies and regulations when required by the judges' bench, as well as ensuring the procedures are followed.
