Australia to further strengthen bilateral relations with Maldives

Ambassador of Australia to Maldives Bryce Hutchesson has assured his commitment to continue working closely with the government of Maldives in further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. The statement was made during his farewell call on Vice President Faisal Naseem at the President's Office.

During the call, the vice president conveyed gratitude and appreciation for the continuous support and services provided to the Maldives during the ambassador's tenure. Noting the strong relationship between the two countries, the vice president expressed hope and confidence Maldives and Australia will continue working together on issues of mutual concern to further strengthen the existing ties.

During the meeting, the vice president also expressed his gratitude to the government of Australia for the consistent support in the education sector. Moreover, the vice president shed light on promoting Maldivian tourism sector in Australia.
