The Parliament Secretariat has decided to hold the first meeting of the first session on February 7.
The Parliament Secretariat confirmed President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will deliver the presidential address on the opening meeting of the first session. The president must deliver a presidential address on the opening session, stating the situation of the country and what the president believes can be done to improve the situation, according to Article 84 of constitution.
The parliament regulation requires the majority leader to answer, following the delivery of the presidential address.
