Jumhooree Party has formed a seven-member committee to evaluate the applications for parliamentary elections. The seven-member committee was formed at the council meeting held on Sunday.
President of Jumhooree Party and Tourism Minister Ali Waheed was appointed as the chair of the committee and Council Member Ahmed Umar was appointed vice chair of the committee. The constituencies it will contest in the upcoming elections will be decided after evaluating the applications, according to Jumhooree Party.
Jumhooree Party has opened until January 25 to submit applications to contest in the elections.
