O' Level results improve in 2018

Ministry of Education has revealed the O' Level results of students improved in 2018.

Speaking at a press conference, Minister of State for Education Ministry Dr. Abdulla Rasheed said the students have improved the results significantly within the past year. In this regard, State Minister Abdulla Rasheed noted the number of students who achieved A and B passes increased, highlighting there is always room for improvement. He also noted there are several projects to be embraced under the all-inclusive education policy of the administration.

The 2018 O' Level examination was completed by 4,571 students while 862 students studied from B-Tech and Technical and Vocational Education programme. The education ministry revealed the number of top achievers amount to 376 in 2018.

Highlighting on separate subjects, 86.1% students passed in Dhivehi Language, 82.9% students passed in Islamic Studies, 59.8% students passed in Mathematics and 50.3% students passed in English Language.
